Venture Adult Leader Training Opportunities
A trained leader is a prepared leader.
| All training is requesting pre registration at
the Sherman Scout office for head counts to prepare food and training material, 5 days

FAST START TRAINING
Who: All leaders
What: Immediately orients leaders to their role in Scouting
before their first meeting with youth.
Prerequisite: None
How: Offered via video from your unit, or from your local
libraries. Fast Start Training is also available on-line. Click here for more info.
NEW LEADER TRAINING
Who: All leaders
What: Provides the basics of the Scouting program,
age-appropriateness of those programs, values and methods.
Prerequisite: Fast Start Training
When: See table below for a list of training dates.
Where: TBA

POSITION SPECIFIC TRAINING (This training is held in conjunction with New Leader Training.)
